This is me

Hello, I'm Alex Storrer—I'm a mechanical engineering and physics student currently at Northeastern University. My passion for fluid mechanics ignited during my undergraduate fluids course, where I came to the realization that we live in a world shaped by fluid dynamics. This newfound perspective allowed me to recognize the subject's ubiquity and significance, propelling me to immerse myself in its complexities ever since.

Over the past 5 years, I've delved into experimental research, developed computational fluids tools, and applied my expertise in real-world settings.

This journey has equipped me with not just knowledge but a deep intuition for solving complex challenges. Now, armed with a robust skill set, I'm eager to pursue a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering post my graduation in Spring 2024. I aim to unraveling the mysteries of turbulent fluid mechanics to contribute solutions to some of the world's most pressing problems.

If you're curious to learn more about my experiences and work, please check out some of the other pages on my website or see my resume:

I am also a dual citizen of the United States and Germany and am proficient in  German language. Check out some projects I created in my German coursework at Northeastern University. This website is also available in German; click the German flag icon here or at the top of the page.
